Yuri Ohba
Yuri was born in the family of ‘House’, where her grandfather was a master Japanese shrine gardener and mother worked for an Interior Design related business. Her birth name is ‘FUKUMURO’, which means ‘Happy Room’.
Graduated from Aoyamagakuin Graduated School of International Business (M.B.A).
Worked for Kao, French Design Agency desgrippe & gobe、GlaxoSmithKline as a marketing person, who mapped out brand strategies, made commercial films and package designs for a long period of time.
During her 3 year stay in Asian countries, while engaged as a museum guide, wrote articles to the media about the stunning Interior Design of Asian essence from these countries which were interpreted by Westerns. She learned many tips about Interior Design from self-educated Interior Designers from these Asian countries.
After coming back to Japan, she ran an import company of French Interior fabric and studied at an Interior Design school.
Currently, working on the Interior Design of residences and doing consulting for concept development.
